Sharon Tay Biography


Sharon Tay is an award-winning journalist and entertainment TV anchor. She formerly hosted two MSNBC programs, MSNBC at the Movies and MSNBC Entertainment Hot List. Sharon Tay is an American journalist and former host of two programs on the MSNBC network.

Sharon Tay was born in Singapore and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven. Her family settled in Connecticut for several years before relocating to the Philippine Islands.

She is also a member of the Asian American Journalists Association and the official spokesperson for The Directors Edge, a product line of Romar Entertainment.  Former co-host for a weekly show on the new National Geographic Channel called "The Human Edge." Used to host a program called "Making It: Minority Success Stories".

Sharon Tay Five time emmy award winner.  Sharon Tay is currently anchoring and reporting for KCBS and KCAL in Los Angeles.
